Housewife just ran away with a rockstar

Celebrity White House gate crasher husband Tareq Salahi is glad his wife, Michaele, is OK but heartbroken that she's left home to be with another man, the lead guitarist for the rock band Journey.

TMZ reported that a representative for Journey said she was safe and with guitarist Neal  Schon.
"Tareq is devastated but he is relieved to know that Michaele is safe," Salahi attorney David Silek said.  "That was his first concern."
Silek said it's premature to say if the couple would get a divorce.

Diane Dimond, who wrote the book "Cirque du Salahi" about the couple, said that Michaele had been frustrated with her husband and that she had a previous relationship with Schon.
"She told me, in effect, that he was one of the loves of her life," Dimond said.
Warren County Sheriff Daniel T. McEathron said that deputies believed Tareq's report was genuine and that authorities did not plan to press  charges.
"We believe the Mr. Salahi did not know where his wife was. We know that she was not home, and we know that she was where she wanted to be. As of right now we don't think it's any different than the way it came in.
"If we know that this may have been some type of ... false complaint, I assure you that we would look into it a whole lot closer in a different direction because a lot of man hours were spent yesterday to work on  this."

However, the distraught husband is convinced ... his cheating wife and the Journey bandmate are making him miserable by making cruel crank calls ... this according to sources closely connected to Tareq.
Supposedly the number that calls is from the same Oregon area code she had called from before.

Tareq then dialed the number and a guy answered, asking, "Who's this?" But more revealing -- there was clearly a party going on in the background.
They deny they made the phone calls.

Missing Housewife of Washington D.C.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi are best known for being the party crashers at a White House dinner a few years back and their time on Bravo’s show The Real Housewives of Washington D.C. Now, the couple are back in the headlines as Tareq has told TMZ that his wife is missing!

According to the husband, Michaele was last seen at their Virginia home some time around 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning and he is certain she was abducted. He told the website that his wife went out to get her hair done but never returned.
He has, however, heard from Michaele.
TMZ reports that the Real Housewives star called her husband, telling him she was going to her mother’s house, located minutes away from the Salahi home. Tareq says the number that popped up on the caller ID was an unfamiliar Oregon number and when he called his mother-in-law to confirm, she said she hadn’t talked to her daughter.

When Tareq contacted the Warren County Sheriff’s Dept. to report the missing person, they assured him that Michaele had already called them and assured them that she was safe but just dealing with “family issues.”  He claims they are not taking him seriously and now he is asking the public for help.
